Kyocera's Three Tier Colour System puts you in control by defining the colour usage levels based on each document you print. This means that you only pay for the amount of colour you use and not one flat rate for every document no matter the colour coverage. 

 Besides the usual colour and black and white counters, Kyocera devices are uni​​que and have three additional counters which calculate the colour coverage of printed and copied pages. These additional counters are then categorised into three groups and assigned a scaled cost depending on the colour coverage on the page. This is different to traditional colour costs where one higher flat rate is charged even if the page has a small logo or more complex colour coverage.
